Ok gang right now my bass teacher is teaching me to tune my bass with just my ear. and I can tune the e string pretty much at the 12 bar dots, but my question is the other 3 strings I can do the same kind of tuning at 12th bar dots, or do I need to ask him to show eme the rest of it?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but what works for one string will work for the others, assuming you're in standard tuning.
