3 finger plucking

i wanna play alittle faster in metal, now my index & middle fingers are fast but not quite enough for certain covers, what are some ways to train my ring finger so i can learn to play alil faster & use the 3 finger gallop?

Practice is all . . . and it'll come natural in time. Starting out just concentrating on alternating your fingers; if you're used to starting on your index, then start on your middle, and then on your ring. Keep alternating and before long you won't even be thinking about it.
