Advice, please

Hope this is the right forum. I've figured out the notes to the line beginning at 4:53 but I need advice on how or where to play them because it's so fast that it all sounds like pull-offs to me but the notes aren't in the right places for me to do that. Can he possibly be picking each note that fast? I even considered tuning the G string up to A for this song to help some. Is he playing pick or finger-style?

It is not that fast, really. For some really fast stuff, click here (there's a notice about disabled audio, but it works fine for me).

The bass part you are asking for can be played fingerstyle effortlessly without pull-offs. My choice would be this:



Fingerings are for the fretting hand, of course. Hope this helps.

Well, yes, that does help. As long as I know it's possible, I'll just keep working on it. I just didn't want to be wasting time trying to do the impossible. Thanks!
