Advice on Wooten Thumb Style?

Sign in to disble this ad
Alright, I recognize the importance of developing your own technique the way that you hear and would like to perform music, but I'm intruiged by Victor Wooten's upward thumb pluck (viz a viz "Classical Thump" for example) and would like to know if anyone has advice as to how to learn it most effectively.

Peace,
Matt

Stay loose in the right hand. I found that the crucial part in learning this was not to use too much force. The lighter the touch the better.
