Hey guys, i need to learn Sweet Emotion to play with my band, i know the right notes to play and all i'm just having trouble making it sound clean and smooth, any of you guys playing this song know any tip to help me out, and sorry mods if this is in the wrong place

Practice slowly and deliberately. Take the tempo way down, master it at a slow tempo, then bring the tempo up a little. Repeat till you get it up to tempo.

And always alternate fingers.

I lock on to the high hat during the intro and the bass drum and guitars during the verse parts. I do play with a slight hesitation or pause during the verse for some reason. I know thats probably not much help.
