Enough stiffness to dig in and rock the house, but enough flexibility to do that Anthony Jackson "Money" thing with palm muting, etc. Also, nice springiness in the upper register for that Geddy Lee type of vibe.
I also use relatively light strings with this as well: 40's or 45's. Rotosound or EB Slinkey. |

they don't feel too ridiculous chunky but you can dig with them.
the fact that they're smaller makes for faster movement, less clumsiness, and lets me continue to involve my hands and fingers in the attack rather than solely the pick. |
