Awesome inspiration

I find this to be the most interesting thing musically. Right now.

This is how I want to play.

I don't care at all about the amp, btw.

Is there any advice on how to become more fluent in this style? I was thinking about a teacher but I'm not sure if the styles played in this video are really funk or just something else.

That's a really ugly bend in the wrist! Good playing though.

Cool amp, nice to see Fender at last joining in the "software amp" market.
Companies like Line 6, TC Electronics, Amplitube etc, have been developing this market for years
I for one have been using a Line 6 Studio110 for recording over the last four year, and have the option of a Lowdown HD400 if more power is needed live.

As for the playing, keep practicing and widen what you listen to, the act of listening and hearing what's going on in other genres and forms of music will make its way into your playing.....whether you want it to or not, you develop a better "musical instinct" for playing.
