Question bad fingers

Sign in to disble this ad
well hum diddly dum!.. When I play with my pinky finger my ring finger decides he must sit on him and hump him! In other words my ring finger comes over and presses on my ring finger. It does help to make the sound better but... Is it different or naughty or something i should hide?! Any suggestions on how to make the naughty finger stop?

Slowly play 1-2-3-4 patterns on your bass, start very slowly using one fret per finger and leave your fingers on the fret until you change strings
start on the 1st fret of the E string(F) with your index finger then move to the F# with your middle finger, G with your ring finger and G# with your pinky, leave the fingers there until you move up to the A string where you repeat the excersise, practice this VERY slowly and be concscious of HOW your fingers are moving, and what muscles and motions are being used and happening.

do a search for fingering patterns or excersises to get more ideas of things to do.
