Bass guitar with upright pickup

I have upgraded my bass with diggin´ a hole under the saddle and placed an upright pickup there...I am really crazy about the sound and the possibilities. Check it out, guys...i love it.

So now my bass acts like an acoustic one...The sound is really interesting and I finally can use a whole instrument to play...not just strings...

Not in real time, but this would make a cool thing to do with a looping device live.
