Go to http://www.angelfire.com/id/bass/ theyve got a bunch of bass scales and since you seem new to theory you can go to http://www.musictheory.net/ or http://www.teoria.com/ to learn about theory and stuff. trust me its helpful only problem is they teach it all in Treble clef and not Bass clef, but if you have problems with that just give me a holler and ill give ya what i know

D minor 7 - the 7 means play a 7th with the triad

Dminor consists of the following notes.

D, E, F, G, A, Bb, C and D ( 8 notes - 1 octave )

D minor 7 = 1,3,5,7

so The dminor7 chord is D, F, A and C

Thanks for the help so far, i do have basic experience in theory as i am a piano player. However, in bass i have trouble with scales, i think it is just becuase i haven't ever properly been taught about them, but this should help! My knowledge in music theory is pretty much cut off at transposing music

Bass scales are the same as any other scale, except you play them on bass.
