Just bang the hell out of an A tuned bass. And wear Adidas sneakers.

Oh no!!!! We've had numerous threads about this. They usually end up on other topics somehow and then go on combatively forever. Be very cautious of starting these Fieldy threads. You do so at your own risk!

well, this has nothing to do with effects, so this is heading off into technique.

And slap it down by the bridge, not over the fingerboard.

Also, any time you write your name, be sure to format it thusly: FoZzY, as in, "FoZzY rUlEz".

Alternately, if you don't like the way that looks, you could try this: fOzZy, as in "fOzZy RuLeZ", if you think that looks cooler.

If you wanted to get really wild and go way, WAAYYYY out on a limb, you could even try a combination of the two, which might lool like this: FoZzY RuLeZ.

Good luck, and godspeed.

Ok, fellas settle down. Too tempting, I know. Fozzy, the answer to your question is in the way he runs his amps. He runs several amps in series so that all of the mids are removed from his sound. That leaves the bottom and the ultra-high "click". I'm going to close this thread soon.
