Hello,
I play like 6 years now.
If I play in a band it always works out well, I can do the fills keep the rythm and do everything allright.

BUT;
when I stand alone with the drummer.
and need to play alone with him.
I can 't play a song.
I just play random stuff..

Someone has some hints for me for improving my playing with only a drummer.

peace.

Learn the melody of the song... not just the bass part. Once you understand the way the melody and the bass part work together with the rhythm you can play within those boundaries.

Spend some time 1 on 1 with a drummer to focus on making the drums and bass act like one instrument.
