Best bass lesson's on-line for free?

Hey guys, just wondering f there is any on-line lessons that i could start doing before i actually start real lessons. Thanks heaps guys

first lesson...use the search feature in this forum, lots of great info, and you question has been coverd many times, usually in the beginner section.

Hey, glad to see that you are deciding to learn bass. Great to hear, most people only wish to learn guitar but not bass. Anyways here is a site that will help you hopefully.

This guy kicks butt. He has real useful lessons especially if you want to dive into some funky stuff.

Marlowe IS the man ! I have played bass for almost 15 years, and only recently have I improved my playing through this guys lessons. Each video shows a great lick and then a "slow motion" of it, so you can fully understand how it is played. Check out his youtube channel.
