I recommend this DVD on technique, however it does not cover slap.

@fearceol Thank you for the suggestion I will definitely check it out. Are there any techniques that you took away from it that you use in your normal playing that you learned specifically from the dvd?

@Bluesman1 I know many people have shared certain things on the forum I made this thread mainly to see those that really stood. out or changed someones playing. Thank you for sharing your links to things on here as well.

He is one of my favorites. I got my hands on a copy of the dvd and actually started watching it tonight, it was one of the things that made me post this thread in search of what had an effect on others. So far I am loving it.

The Groove Workshop is a wonderful dvd! Not too heavy on any one area. Really great practical information and quite unique, in my opinion, as far as 'instructional dvds ' are co concerned.
