can/do you shread

i want to learn how to shread. iv noticed lots of people use arpeshios to shread...what do yoy guys do??~?? any advice??~??

heheehe....a bunch of months ago someone here made a thread "posting shredding .mp3s"

So I plugged my bass into my effects, tuned in some distortion, hit record, and wanked around for a couple seconds. compressed it and posted it in the forum

ahhh...i thought it was like a word thing, so i kept trying to open it with word.
