Completely randomly...

I find myself watching my right hand in the mirror (I hung it up years ago to watch my left hand playing upright bass) and frankly, I was executing a floating hand technique really quite well.

Never practiced, never thought about it, tried it for a few minutes before bed when that free floating thumb video was posted, but I'm doing it now, subconciously.

Wierd.

But cool.

I have always done it, the video that Todd posted showed me a few things that I was doing wrong. Other than that I have played like that for the 4+ years that I have been playing.

I find myself doing it randomly sometimes too, but I like having my thumb anchored, it just feels right.
