Darryl jenifer is a definite influence on my playing and i really dig his playing and tone he gets when playing with a pick. So i was wondering in this song is there a little bit of palm muting going on when he is playing this line or is he just playing it with out the muting?

yep

with darryl , you never can tell. if you check out the videos on you tube it seems like he switches up quite a bit. more or less seems like he plays pick on the heavier stuff, but always fingers with reggae, always up by the neck for that deeper sound.

oh wait i thought i would look on you tube, you don't see much of him but from what you do see, he's definitely playing this song with a pick.
