different pain issue

Hey all, well i've been playing with my bass slung way up high like jazz high or so recently to try and defeat the neck dive on my warwick thumb, and anyways now i'm getting some pain and fatigue real easily right along the bass of my left thumb whenever i'm playing anything that changes alot on the upper frets. My wrist is turned pretty harsh towards me now and i thought that that might be the problem but i've seen so many other pro players with similar hand posistion so i just wanted to get your opinion.

It's something that most, if not all bass player experence. I remember getting a bit of thumb pain in both hands. Keep practicing and playing, try not to over do it, and it should slowly disappear.

there was a good website posted in another thread which might help as well.
