When you slap, keep your fingers together & your palm wide open.... then swing across your shoulders. Always aim for the cheek, & make sure the palm hits the cheek squarely for maxiumum impact!

Firstly, I'm the wrong person to tell you what you're doing right/wrong, in regards to slapping. But, I recognized the song... the pops were clear, but I didnt hear much depth of tone on the thumb slaps.... now, I have no idea if its the recording, or your amp.

It sounds reasonable to me. I think the recording quality is a bit poor, so it's hard for us to really hear what you hear when you play. The popping is nice and sharp. It sounds to me like maybe you should adjust the EQ a bit and add some more bass. It sounds very flat.

Obviously I can't comment on your technique because I can't see it

oh im slappin like flea, parallel dont do the work for me. anyways i was askin how i sounded. and it seems lik it sounds pretty decent...

and yeah this was recorded with a lousy mp3 player and i had my mids boosted and bass cut
