I was just roaming the internet, like usual, at work. And I came across this site.

http://bassguitarsecrets.com/

It looks alot like one of the websites for a late night infomercial, but then it says 1 year money back garantee. I know those garantees dont mean anything these days, but I'm still intrigued.

Does anyone know if this is half as good as they boast about on there website. It may be worth the 40 bucks if it actually does improve your playing drastically.

Ha, I'm not a newbie by anymeans, and I have no expectations that it'll turn me into Jaco overnight, I'm just curious if it can actually help out my bass playing technique quite a bit.

Anyone try it?

There's no such thing as a quick fix way to anything really. Losing weight, education, making money etc. The best way is usually the tried and tested long slow hard way.

I think the best responses to this inquiry the last time it came up were:
1) If they tell everyone, it's not a secret anymore
2) The secret is lots of practice

I think a few guys had seen it and said it had some merit, but my suggestion is that money is better invested on a good teacher/mentor. That way you have someone actually watching your technique and giving you real-time feedback. Even a few months of lessons can help get you to the next level of playing.

Overall technique I suppose. Arent we all wanting to get better though.

I'd like to make it easier to come up with catchy bass lines quicker I suppose.

Also, my slap techique could definately use some accuracte improvements
