Has anyone ever used 2 strings to slide? If so who? I am working on a milixian mode song with 2 strings that you got to slide down. It starts of with a minor Pentonic scale on f. then you use strings a d to slide all way down to the 7th fret e and do 2 full mylixain mode's then all the way back to the minor pentonic scale with that same slide. Once I perfect it I will post it and see if you guys like it or not okies? |

I do that all the time. It sounds awesome on Upright. Better yet slide down from one note and then start sliding down from another note on another string during that first slide.
I believe you were trying to type Mixolydian. |

I believe you were trying to type Mixolydian. | Thanks and yes it was what I was trying to type, but my spelling blows. Anways what I mean is useing the a and d string and slide all way down to the 7th fret eB and then pause for a 2 second rest then go in to your Mixolydian mode.
You would actally Slide using 2 strings at the same time. |

Check out the song "Walk on the Wild Side"
Although the studio version was two tracks from what I've read it has been performed live using a double slide. The trick is that the pitches slide in opposite directions so both hands must fret and slide. |

Then try major thirds or flat fives, then try minor third and perfect fives and finally get used to sliding minor sixths and major seconds.
My personal favs are major thirds.
I'm talking overall I use different notes/intervals for different songs(duh).
