Double Thumb

I've been trying to double thumb then double/triple pluck a la Wooten for at least a few months, i can do this slowly and clumsily but even still the thumbed string barely even resonates...

Can anyone help me with how to do this technique?

Yes, try and curve your thumb upwards like your thumb has been snapped backwards. Then with your Index and Middle, keep them in distance like the strings. So lets say your strings are 3 inches apart, keep your index 3 inches from your thumb, and your middle 3 inches from your index. Also dont dig into the string, LIGHTLY place your fingers/thumb.

This is Wooten trick, you can pass your life after this technique without master it.

THIS… is what I’ve been looking for…thanks…I’m getting the triplet thing happening (Down-Up-Index)…but could NOT figure out a way to do the 4-stroke, Down-Up-Index-Middle, thing going…

Any tips on, playing the E-A-D strings, more smoothly? It seems really easy to do the G string, comparatively.
