Double Thumb with the Hitchhiker's Thumb

Hey.
I have the hitchhikers thumb in my right hand, and im trying to learn the double thumb technique.
Will my thumb affect it in any way?

Shouldn't do. Loads of fantastic bassists manage just fine.
