Double Thump Q

Ok, so I can double thump now, I can do it on the E,A,D strings, but not on the G, it is because there is no string in front of it to support my thumb. Can you give me any tips on double thumping on the G string =D?

Just force your thumb more downwards instead of across and it should stop on the body next to the string, and then you will be in perfect position to come up with the thumb..
