Doug Wimbish Right Hand Technique

With all the Wooten love going on here I figured I'd post a vid of another bassist with a unique and functional right hand technique. Does anyone here use any of the fingertip slap stuff with any success? I know Entwistle was using a similar technique way before Wimbish (Entwistle called it the typewriter method) but he's taken it to another level. Any input is appreciated.
