Where is a good place to start playing bass along with drum tracks to work on timing and rhythms? Would like to start with basic rhythms and progress from there. There is a lot out there with drum machines and software, etc, but not sure what is appropriate for rudimentary learning phase.

Is the book/CD "Essential Styles for Drummer & Bassist" a good place to start?
