Electric bass right hand technique

Sign in to disble this ad
I've been playing electric bass a decent amount of time, I've gotten the basics of most styles between slap, different finger techniques, double thumb etc. and i was wondering what advantages and disadvantages are there in using three fingers with the right hand or two fingers with the right hand. THere may not be a definite better, but what calls for the use of one as opposed to the other... which in your opinion do you liek better and why? I'm sure its great to master both but i'm wondering which i should focus in on more. I do tend to see more wiht the two finger technique, it seems more popular but i dont see why three fingers wouldnt be better. ALso im new to this forum, are there any good posts you can leave the link to on different practicing strategies for any tehcniques and any playing in general. THanks in advance

You are in the wrong section of the forums.

This section is for double bass (upright).
