really had some fun this afternoon,,used a palm mute with a roll of some foam under the strings by the bridge, tight 8th inch foam like you would line a tool box with(actually bought for tying floating stoneflys with for flyfishing),,,hope somebody gets WHAT type of foam i'm talking about?,did a DGCF tune with cromes on my J with the neck pickup rolled mostly off(opposite from what i usually do for `classic' or `new' rock blues etc

anyway i used a thumb by golly,,never was a thumbster,no slap pop for me(maybe next week eh?)fingers or a pick,,,,had a great time(wow),always learning about my old amp and what it is capable of,,then after i got home i intermitently jammed with classic rock and new rock while working on my boat(just couldn't stay off it)and hey!,i feel like i turned a corner or two by utilising that thumb,in fact i'm using all my fingers on my right hand more and better,,`just sayin'and all that, but,,the journey continues!

thumb ya later bye!
