Exciting DVD questions/ recomendations?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys every now and then I hook up with a good lesson on a new exciting technique through a video on youtube by say Vic Wooten, or some other crazy good bassist and it really fires me up. Kind of gets me excited about the bass again in a new way. I love learning new stuff. Anyone know of any good dvd's they could recommend. I would love to learn some in depth theory of 2 hand tapping or something fun, exciting, and highly challenging.

Please suggest away!

thanks

I'm thinking about the Louis Johnson DVD that's on ebay. I'm a long time player but not a slapper. I'm surprised you got no takers on this thread, because I'd like to know who's out there too.

You should try Victor Wooten's DVD, Groove Workshop.

It's less technically orientated (specifics) but covers some aspects of it, how he actually does/uses each technique. I found it was a fantastic inspirational DVD with some fantastic solo's hidden within as well as great advice on how to further your playing.
