My Fender simply has tone and volume. My question is I simply play for our worship team at Church and Where should I set my volume control on the bass? Would I simply turn it to max volume and let the sound guy handle the balance? Any thoughts would be great.

Yeah, leave it full up on the bass, the Sound man will figure out the front of house mix.

You should be able to control the output of the bass from the attack of your right hand.
