Fingering issues

I'm having them. I normally play using my middle and index fingers to hold the frets. Is this normal or should I work on changing it?

Don't use it. I have alot of motor skill problems so incorporating a whole finger in is pretty damn hard.

Sorry, fretting. I tend to use just a few fingers. As for plucking I use index and middle. Is this normal or should I change?

Everything is possible through practise.. If you physically can use your pinky then use it for the love of god!

I do know it's pain in the ass for doing everything with it so slow, but be sure... It will pay off later

I use all 4 fingers for fretting, i think most people do. For plucking i usually use two fingers unless im playing really fast then i'll use my ring finger. But it has to be pretty fast because you can achieve fast triplets with only two fingers. When i started i only used my index and middle. When you start getting more strength and dexterity in you hand it will be alot easier trust me.
Pick one of these up, it will help. Good luck http://www.music123.com/Gripmaster-E...34911.Music123
