i have only recently started picking, but i was having trouble strumming. i had already gotten used to fingernail strumming (Claypool style), and figured id "make up" my own technique. i sometimes throw in fingernail strums when im picking if i can hit the string required with the pick. i am just a pick noob, but still, i might stick with this, it just looks so weird and cool. lol.

anyone else do this?
