fingerstyle

when i use fingerstyle there is this irritating sound like that my snares are clashing against my frets do you have any advice?

you have snares on our bass?...
really though you're probably just getting the strings to vibrate differently then pickstyle. try adjusting the angle at which you play fingerstyle or maybe raise your action
