| Another good way to do it is to keep each finger hovering over each note of a cord (try a 1 5 9 10 chord in Em). Play on the twelfth fret E with your left index and play the fifth with your right index, the ninth with your right ring finger (duh) and the tenth with your left pinky. Then you can mix rhythms and order. You can play them together, each individual note, holding each note while the others are played (not letting of each note as you hit it until you come back around). They're are a lot of possibilities when doing this and not just with this add2 chord. Try different chords. Another good thing to do is listen to piano pieces and start working them out as a tapping part. The more you do this, the easier it will come to spit out a solo that has a rhythm and melody or something (the most interesting) or just a basic one.
