Fingure or Pick?

Alright, how many of you bassists out there use a pick?

Personally, i go ALL fingure, I think the pick just adds too much treble to the sound, I've played in groups that play ALL sorts of music, from jazz to rock to country to funk to metal and no matter what that picking just doesn't cut it for me. I think you get a much wholer sound with the fingures.

So, do you fingure or pick? or half and half?

hey, I'm old and English... and we say 'finger' too

I use a pick mostly because I prefer the sound it makes with my main bass (fender P)... and I think some basses respond better to pick than others... I prefer the sound of pick on my P to my J, but prefer the sound of fingers on my J to my P...

there's just something about a P-Bass, pick, new strings and a grindy cranked valve amp that floats my boat

just thought i'd get that in before the thread gets closed

Hey, this is a really unique idea for a thread and poll!
