Finnally I can double thumb!!! Only with a ABG??***

I am waiting for My MTD K4 to be delivered. Meantime I have been using my ABG ..( I'm playing through a Korg Pandora's box).
I get a good 16 Drum fill going, and I thump out a pretty impressive" Percussive" Double Thumping groove going on.

Does this mean I have to sell a Kidney to get a Jonas Hellborg Warwick........

The ABG feels like a trampoline, compared to a solid body bass, Is there something wrong with my playing?? I can't do it on a solid body bass..
