hey everyone, i've been playing some bass that involves strumming or what people call flamenco shot (claypool style). but les claypool does a double flamenco shot, and i dont know how to do that... how does he do that? does he go down with his index, mid, and ring and go back up with (long) nails too?

He goes down with his fingernails, and up with the pads of his fingers. It is reverse what he does going down, with no nails.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Well, what I do is what I said, and it sounds fine. I am not sure exactly what Les does.
