Whoever said a fretless isnt made to slap must not have seen this video, I love the straight out drum style percussiveness it gets compared to the click on a fretted

slapping, as i understand it, is harder on metal frets than it is a fretless board. the wood only compresses so much [contrary to the popular 'chews up' and 'eats away' phrases that get used].
