P or J bass through any solid amp.

Boost your lows, boost your low mids a little and cut the high mids a little, cut your treble. Heavy neck pick up.

Your amp doesn't have tone controls?

WHAT exactly is the "oldschool (sic) funk sound" you're after? Larry Graham with S &TFS? The sound like the bass on Betty Wright's "Mr. Big Stuff"? Louis Johnson? Bootsy on "Sex Machine" or the older JB sound like "I Feel Good"?

Heck and old amp should help get and old sound!! Play with the tone controls, any decent bass with P or J style PUPs, and don't put too much treble on it.

You'll need effects because that's a keyboard playing those basslines.
