He was in Bass Player mag a few issues back. I believe it's an Avalon DI, Sans Amp RBI for distortion and a Palmer Speaker simulator for low end. He plays a nice 70's Jazz that has "more low end than most he's seen" (or something like that). He's using this same rig on the current tour with in-ear monitors.
