Going to try something this weekend

Our band will be playing a church gig this weekend, and we're looking to incorporate synth strings to a couple of our songs. One song will have extensive strings throughout most of the song, so since I'll be playing keys one of our guitarists will take over for me on bass. The other song has a small passage with strings, so I'm going to try playing bass with my left hand, using hammer-ons to produce notes, and the right hand will be playing chords on the keys. I've been practicing it for a few days now and it's not all that difficult, luckily it's a simple C-F-G progression. I'll keep everything simple and I should be able to pull it off.

Anyone else try playing bass and keys at the same time?
