Grooving Like Zender. Emergency on Planet earth.

I have set my self the task of working out Jamiroquai s Emergency On Planet Earth. Stuart Zender GOOVES and I want to get his goove...any tips people can offer me on how I might achieve this task? Before start...how I should appoach this bass playing monster of a record?

groove..i would say groove is more a state of mind than technique per se...

listen and play along to the album a lot. listen to the album when you're not playing too to catch the little nuances he does. practice, practice practice.

Make sure your timing is dead on, and pay particular attention to the attack of each note and when it ends. Good luck!
