Just came across this pic of DMB's bassist on warwicks site (didnt know he played a 'wick). Anyway, is this stretch in the picture for real? I mean, comon....how many frets is his range here? I can't even understand it, if you will help me i'd appreciate it, thanks.  |

But I doesn't look as it's that much more than my max stretch which down on the neck is 5 frets (quite easy but 6 is impossible to me), from the low F to C on the G string, or 8 frets higher up on the neck (E on the 12th fret (E str.) -> D on the 20th fret (G str.)

| Doesn't look like he's playing the G or C string at all here. I think only the light on the left arm might it look like a finger and that he's playing the E or B string with his pinky. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Lake Charles, LA | | Well, a stretch that far is really unnecessary. Once you stretch 5 frets, you have the same note as the note on the same fret and one string up (D to G). He probably just wants bass players to think about it.
