Hand hurts when i play fast

Sign in to disble this ad
I play with a pick. When I play fast songs (180 bpm-ish) my wrist and hand starts to hurt after a while, but stopping to play for a couple seconds stops it, so I'm pretty sure it's my technique thats at fault.

I play pretty close to the bridge and usually move my whole arm up and down, but sometimes i just move my wrist back and forth, with the same painful result.

Any advice on how to "fix" this?
