Hand stretching routine

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi everyone,

I do not know if this information has been passed along before, but in light of all the posts regarding hands pain, I thought I'd submit a solution that helped me a lot.

To make a long story short, I have had all sorts of bad LH pain since I got my fretless. Recently, I found this website and it helped me a lot.

http://www.musicianshealth.com/stretches.htm

I do the routine, including stretching all fingers sideways (which is not in the routine) for about 10 minutes before practicing and it works magic for me!!!

Hope this can help a few folks here!!!

Regards,

Dave

I usually spread my fingers out on both hands as wide as I can, place them finger to finger on each other on both hands and push in with both arms... stretches my fingers out pretty good...

Usually do that, then stop and wiggle my fingers around for a few secs then repeat... bout 5 times gets me ready to go.
