Harmonic Progression?

I've always loved harmonics, but i still dont know their progression.
Can someone please explain which harmonics correspond to each note?

That doesn't mean what you think it means, "harmonic progression" refers to the chord changes in a song.

But still, how do i know what harmonics correspond to each note?

12th fret gives you one octave

5th fret is two octaves

7th fret is the fifth

They repeat at different frets too- the 5th fret is the same as the 17th fret (I think- I don't have a bass handy, and the 7th repeats at two other places as well. It's just subdividing the string so you can figure them out by messing around. THere's a good book I had decades ago that teaches and it had a cool little chart of all the harmonics, but I just think of splitting up the string.

& 4th and 9th frets (both produce the same note) give you the major 3rd of the string you're playing
So harmonic on the 4th or 9th fret of the G string will give you a B... I think/hope that is right
