I would like to make more use of harmonics in bass lines and solos, however whenever I seem to play them in a live setting, they seem to get eaten up by the other sounds. How can I get my harmonics to ring out in that Jaco "Portrait of Tracy" style? I love the tone on that, but I can't seem to replicate it. What should I change in my technique and/or sound setup? |
