Have no idea what to do

Hey,
I want to add some bass to this recording, but I have no idea how to play bass. Any suggestions, do I just play the chords?

If you don't know, just play the root notes of the chords. Experiment with letting them ring or playing shorter notes. It'll sound musical, even if it isn't technically great.

This got me from the guitar to the bass in a hurry. I will probably not play my 6 strings any more I love the bass.
