Hopefully this isn't stupid but...

I'm just wondering, when I'm playing a fast descending riff that looks like this:

-----5--3-----------3----------3----|

The last five notes have me wondering about which fingers I should be using (if i want to use good form). Assuming I'm using the index and ring finger for the 5's and 3's respectively, would I also use the index on the final note (the G)? It seems like an unnatural sort of hop to make; rather than extending the fingers I'm having to "hop" so to speak. I can play the lick fine, it's just I was wondering what you guys would do?
