You know how Fieldy's bass sounds? It's really rattle-y and loose sounding. How do I get that sound? |

the short answer is detune your strings, (Korn uses lots of lower tunings) and scoop out your sound w/ an EQ. I believe he uses a setuop where his highs & mid sare emphasized and lows are reduced.
lastly, ever see him play? bang the stings w/ your fingers, palms, etc
I'm not too keen on his sound, but its cerrtainly reproducable |

Easy:
EQ settings:
Lows: 10
Mids: 0
Highs: 10
Add some overdrive/distortion to it and slap/pop to taste.
There you go!!!!!
